When contacted, state Police Public Relations Officer
(PPRO), ASP Moses Yamu disclosed that the state Police
Command had already sent operatives to the area to ascertain
the true situation of things so as not to just act on rumor.
“Yes, we heard something like that and we have sent some
operatives to the area to see what is really happening because
we don’t just want to be actin on the basis of rumor. I cannot
say anything further until they come back.”
